THE AWNY FOUNDATION is the charitable arm of Advertising Women of New York, dedicated to supporting needs that are aligned with the organization’s mission to empower women to achieve personal and professional fulfillment at each stage of their careers.
AWNY’s primary charitable focus this year is in support of our 4th Annual Education Relief Program. We know that promising young women come into our industry excited about their futures but are saddled with student loan debts that can be 3 to 4 times their annual salaries. We want to do our part to relieve all or a portion of that debt to help them stay and thrive in our industry.
Funds for the Foundation currently come from a portion of the proceeds of all our events. We also do some dedicated fundraising through corporate outreach. However, contributions from individual members are gratefully accepted. Any donations coming directly from members will be awarded in their entirety to our causes, and are fully tax deductible.
