ADVERTISING CAREER CONFERENCE COMMITTEE
AWNY formed this committee to give college students an opportunity to learn about careers in our industry. This committee runs one of AWNY’s longest running and most respected annual events, the Advertising Career Conference, which brings together over 600 college students from across the country. Each fall, our own stars of Madison Avenue teach the “tricks of the trade” to the next generation of advertising professionals. This is a unique opportunity to help coordinate one aspect of this remarkable and inspirational event. Come learn about the many different ways you can participate. We’d also like to establish ongoing relationships with colleges in the NYC area so that we can help students and AWNY members connect for internships and job opportunities in our industry. LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
This committee provides AWNY Resident members with educational programming to support career advancement. It is also responsible for creating executive engagement/mentoring meetings with AWNY board members throughout the year. This committee is designed for Resident Members (those over the age of 30). . Meets: 8:15 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., 1st Tuesday of every month. Location at Time Inc.

We are always looking for people to help with check-in AWNY events. Enjoy face-time with AWNY members and guests, and attend the event (or a future event with a similar format) at half price! Since we do not have meetings, we only request an hour of your time when you volunteer to help at an AWNY event.
This committee plans and executes all of AWNY’s thought leadership and networking events. This includes intimate gatherings like the Boardroom Breakfasts and Master Class series and larger breakfast, luncheon and evening events spanning our industry’s needs. ANNUAL MENTORING PROGRAM SUB-COMMITTEE
An embodiment of AWNY’s mission for professional growth and development, this committee is responsible for structuring the annual mentoring program, reviewing applications, creating appropriate matches and monitoring progress of matches throughout the year. The committee also organizes 2 to 3 events for mentees & mentors. Participate in an active, collaborative environment where we assess, critique and enhance our annual program for “lifelong learning”. The AWNY Multicultural Alliance works to foster a sense of community among members with multicultural expertise and interests and to infuse multiculturalism into AWNY's existing programs and initiatives.
YOUNG EXECUTIVES COMMITTEE
This committee programs events that appeal to Young Executives. This includes the VIP Silent Auction, Networking with Notables, career development programming and networking events. Meets: 6:30 p.m., 2nd Tuesday of the month, Location varies
